Monday Morning Greetings:

Surprised! I decided to break my routine and send out my e-mail early in the week. I guess it's that whole "freedom in Christ" thing we've been talking about. We had a great weekend enjoying God's presence. Sunday morning we had many visitors who came out for the baptism. I have already heard stories of how visitors from different religious backgrounds were very moved by our service and are desiring to come back again. To God be the glory! The baptisms were a wonderful testimony of the power of Jesus Christ to transform hearts. The Voice of Praise Gospel Choir concert was a fantastic evening of worship through singing and testimonies. The choir had us standing and praising almost immediately!

This coming Saturday our leadership team is having a mini-retreat where we will spend significant time in prayer crying out to God for the church.

Sunday morning we handed out prayer cards to give us specific things we can pray about during our retreat. If you did not fill out a prayer card, please take a moment and REPLY TO THIS E-MAIL with your PERSONAL PRAYER REQUEST.

We are looking forward to going to God on behalf of the church and seeing how the Lord answers in supernatural ways.

See or call Brian Heinrich if you or someone you know is interested in playing on our church softball team.

May 16-17: Garage Sale: This will be a great time to serve and love our community. We encourage you to consider serving on either or both of these days.

Also, see if you have any items to donate for the sale and drop off at the church building in the next couple weeks. All proceeds will go towards church programming.

Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So, if the SON sets you FREE, you will be free indeed!"

John 8:34-36

Live in the freedom this week that Jesus has already given you,

Pastor Adam
